ECOPOWER C9 HC-9140 Hydrocarbon Resin is a low molecular weight thermoplastic Aromatic Resin produced from petroleum derived C9 fraction through catalytic-polymerization technique.

Product Description:

Cold polymerized petroleum resin is prepared by low temperature catalytic polymerization of C9 fraction,which is a byproduct of ethylene plant. The product is yellow granular solid, transparent and glossy, with good solubility, mutual solubility, water resistance, insulation, excellent chemical stability to acid and alkali, good adhesion and low thermal conductivity.

Application

Cold Polymerization Petroleum resin C9

1. Paint: This kind of resin can increase the gloss of paint, improve the adhesion, hardness, acid and

alkali resistance of paint film. It can be used to make road sign paint, antirust paint, ship paint and alkyd paint.

2. Adhesive: It mainly replaces the traditional modified rosin and Terpene Resin. It has the characteristics of low acid value, good miscibility, water resistance, ethanol resistance and chemical resistance. It is chemically stable to acid and alkali, and has good adjustable viscosity and thermal stability. Adding petroleum resin into the adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive tape can improve the adhesion, acid resistance, alkali resistance and water resistance of the adhesive, And can effectively reduce production costs.

3. Ink: Used in ink production, it can speed up the drying speed, gloss and fastness of the coating. It has resistance to melting and drying. The addition of petroleum resin into the ink can have the effect of color development, quick drying and brightening,and improve the printing performance. Therefore, various printing inks can be made.
