Properties: DCPD Hydrocarbon Resin is a pale yellow thermoplastic resin which is polymer of low molecular weight made of dicyclo pentadiene and Others by special process, and generated by polyreaction at a certain temperature and pressure.It has char acteristics of high bromine value and light color,good liveness and compatibility with Other bases in the rubber, especially in high-grade rubber, playing a good role in activity and solubility .

Dicyclopentadiene can be used in high energy fuel, metal derivatives, dicyclopentadiene petroleum resin ,epoxy resin, unsaturated polyesters resins, polymer, norbornene, drug, flavor and fine chemicals; moreover,it can be used to produce value-added chemicals such as pesticide, drug, flavor and fire retardant, etc.

Dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) is a white crystalline chemical compound with camphor-like odor. It is a flammable liquid produced by steam cracking of naphtha and other petroleum fractions. DCPD is produced through the Diels-Alder Reaction, wherein it is extracted as a by-product of ethylene manufacturing. Major application segments of DCPD include unsaturated polyester resins, hydrocarbon resins, EPDM elastomers, and others. DCPD is used in applications in a wide range of end-user industries such as automotive, marine, plastics, building & construction, and paints & coatings. Demand for DCPD is expected to be high in the building & construction industry due to increase in construction activities in developing regions such as Asia Pacific and Latin America. Our silane coupling agent plant is located in YongXiu, Jiangxi. the capacity is more than 7000 MT/year.
