MAJOR APPLICATIONS AND PROPERTIES
Rayton ZBPD-75 is a fast curing secondary accelerator for NR and EPDM. It is mainly used as an accelerator in non-blooming, relative low cost, fast curing systems.
When used in combination with MBTS or sulfenamides in NR compounds, Rayton ZBPD-75 dramatically improves reversion resistance. Because of non-amine based structure, Rayton ZBPD-75 can be used as a component in non-N-nitrosamine generating cure systems.
Rayton ZBPD-75 is non-discoloring and non-staining.
Rayton ZBPD-75 can be used at levels of 1.0 to 4.0 PHR. When used in NR to improve reversion resistance, care must be taken to select the level of Rayton ZBPD-75 to obtain the best compromise between scorch and reversion resistance. Since Rayton ZBPD-75 is non-blooming and non-discoloring, it can be used in translucent, NR shoe sole compounds.
